Coronavirus (Covid-19) Urgent Client Advisory

March 16, 2020, 11:40 a.m.

Earlier today, we reached out to our clients via email regarding this time of uncertainty. We know there are many questions about how to address the COVID-19 outbreak in your community associations; and, it seems there are new developments and changes in recommendations and orders from our governmental agencies on daily or hourly basis. The situation is changing rapidly.

Over the last few days we discussed publishing information to cover a wide range of legal concerns arising out of this pandemic. We came to the conclusion that it is best to speak directly to clients about any specific concerns rather than to speak in generalities since the information changes almost hourly and each association has unique concerns. Our attorneys are advising clients on a case-by-case basis to answer legal questions that affect individual community associations.

Our attorneys and staff are available and we have systems in place to allow them to remain available. For their protection and yours, we are not holding meetings in our office and to the extent possible, attending all meetings electronically.

Please contact us with any legal questions that may arise. We urge you not to ignore or underestimate the impact the spread of COVID-19 and the resulting actions of governmental agencies may have on your community.

If you are a current Epsten, APC client and have questions regarding the operation of your community during this pandemic, contact our office or your primary attorney directly.
