Gabriel is a member of the firm’s litigation team. As a personal injury paralegal of six years and a Certified Law Student of three years, he has vast experience with state civil procedure; ranging from written discovery, trial prep and handling exhibits, to prove up hearings, oral arguments for a motion to quash subpoena and defending plaintiffs’ depositions.
As the first lawyer in his family, Gabriel understands the importance of client interaction. Lawsuits and alternate dispute resolution can become second nature to a litigator, while a client is often inundated with questions. By understanding each client’s story and keeping the line of communication open, he aspires to demystify the legal world and facilitate resolution.
While attending law school, Gabriel received the Academic Excellence award for his performance in Trial Practice, which allowed him to participate in the Appellate Program. He actively attends the San Diego Inn of Court for more in-court training. During his undergraduate studies, Gabriel was the General Manager for the Trojan Marching Band, where he learned the invaluable skill of collaboration. Outside the office, he dances salsa, attends live theatre and drag performances, and plays soccer with the Sparks SC.
