Jillian Wright is a seasoned attorney with over 12 years of experience in community association law, focusing on providing comprehensive transactional services to her clients. Her expertise includes contract preparation, negotiation, and interpretation, as well as the drafting, analysis, and enforcement of governing documents. Jillian is dedicated to supporting community associations, offering insightful and strategic advice that ensures her clients’ needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Early in her career, Jillian worked in the construction defect and assessment collections department, which broadened her understanding of the complexities involved in community association management. This foundational experience has equipped her with a well-rounded perspective, enabling her to approach client matters with a unique and informed lens. Beyond her legal practice, Jillian is passionate about education and has generously volunteered her time as an instructor for board members and community managers. She has taught through both the Community Associations Institute of San Diego (CAI-SD) and the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) Legal Lessons Academies. Jillian has also participated as a guest speaker at CACM’s SoCal Law Seminar where she shared her expertise on recent developments regarding solar energy and electric vehicle charging stations —critical topics for the evolving needs of community associations.
Jillian is also a key contributor to her firm’s educational series, where she has led various presentations, including co-hosting the firm’s first “Board Bootcamp” for association board members. In addition, she has been a frequent speaker at the firm’s “Legal Lessons,” a program tailored to community managers covering the complexities of their day-to-day operations . Her commitment to advancing industry knowledge and empowering clients underscores her dedication to serving the community association field with both skill and integrity.
Jillian’s dedication to community service has been a constant throughout her life. While in law school, she was awarded the California Bar Association’s Wiley Manuel Award for Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono, recognizing her commitment to tenant rights as a volunteer with the Tenant’s Rights Cooperative. Today, she continues to give back to the community where she was born and raised by volunteering weekly with We See You San Diego, an organization devoted to supporting the city’s unhoused neighbors. Jillian’s volunteer work is an extension of her commitment to fostering strong, supportive communities, both through her legal career and her personal life.
