              Legal Symposium

When not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son. On most weekends, you can find me and my family at the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, the Fleet Science Center, Legoland, Sea World, or at a library or bookstore. Other times, you can find me shuttling my son to or from soccer games, swim class, piano practice, or hip hop classes.

When I was in high school, my career ambition was to become a rock star. When I'm not with friends or family, I enjoy playing guitar and envisioning myself on stage with long hair and thousands of adoring fans screaming my name. In reality, though, we are all better off with me as a lawyer, than as a “musician.”

I proudly sit on the Board of Animal Samaritans, a non-profit animal welfare organization in the Coachella Valley; my husband and I donate many hours of our free time socializing the cats and dogs up for adoption at Animal Samaritans’ Adoption Center. We are the doting owners of two rescue cats from the organization and I would take home more if my husband wasn’t always the rational one in this regard.

I also enjoy frequenting thrift shops, antique stores, and tiki bars to grow my collection of tiki mugs and general tiki ephemera. I have over 100+ mugs and am always on the hunt for more.
